World of Energy, based on an idea by and on the initiative of Michel Szulc-Krzyzanowski, is a photo-project creating more awareness about energy worldwide.

For a period of two years, the photographers Taco Anema and Michel Szulc-Krzyzanowski traveled around the world in order to photograph twenty forms of energy production and consumption. As a rule, one of the photographers stayed for two weeks with a family of which one member worked in energy production, who was photographed both at work (production) and at home (consumption).
