In 1986 I lived in a house in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
One large space was made into a photo studio with Bowens flash equipment.
There I invited persons I knew to come to have their portrait made.
However, my ambition was to make portraits where one actually would not see the face.
But by using other visual methods to reveal something relevant about the portrayed persons.
These portraits were later exhibited and published widely.
And received the “Zilveren Camera”-award for portraits in 1987.
